The Recovery Complex (TRC) was created to meet a critical need in Southern Indiana and Greater Louisville: a central hub where recovery could thrive.
For decades, people in recovery gathered at the Jeffersonville Token Club. When it closed in 2013, 34 weekly meetings were displaced, leaving a huge gap in resources. Serenity House, a 48-bed men’s halfway house next door, tried to absorb the demand, but it wasn’t designed for that volume. The need for a larger, dedicated space was clear.
From that vision, The Recovery Complex was born. TRC is part of Serenity, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Located next door to Serenity House, TRC builds on its legacy by offering a place where recovery is celebrated every day through meetings, fellowship, service, and community support.
