The Recovery Complex (TRC) is part of Serenity, Inc. - a 501(c)(3) entity in all donations are tax deductible.
Sobriety is achieved and maintained when those seeking it are surrounded by people on the same path in a fun, hospitable, safe and judgement-free environment.
The Recovery Complex is on the same property next-door to the Serenity House - a 48 bed men’s halfway house that was established in the early 1970’s. Not only will TRC provide a gathering spot for the recovery community at large in Southern Indiana and Greater Louisville, but it is ideally situated for the men at Serenity House to attend multiple meetings on a daily basis as needed. Staying sober is about establishing new patterns of behavior including attending meetings regularly and hanging out with sober friends. TRC will be a critical piece of the puzzle for them to establish those new patterns of behavior. When residents transition out of Serenity House, they’ll already be accustomed to attending meetings at TRC. It’s where they will want to come back to because of the joy, happiness and satisfaction they will find in being of service to others sharing their experience, strength and hope.
